Hey Everyone!
Great news! My Master is back from the engineer and I couldn't be more excited for this CD to come out. My Trio and quartet participants will be receiving a mastered cut this evening via email! Even though I'm not feeling 100% today I'm extremely encouraged that this project is in the final stretch. I have already talked to my duplicators today and also my graphic artist in terms of the actual packaging. Stay tuned for many more details!
It's never too late for folks who would like to be a part of this project to contribute:

Back from CD mixing/early mastering!
Hey everyone!
Here's a bit of an update from today's session:
1. The CD will be 14 or 15 tracks, depending on what floats my boat for final pressing.
2. The disc is IMO a perfect length of around 46-47 minutes. For one of my normal CD's I would say this is a bit short but since this is a CD dedicated to SOLO trumpet music that length feels very comfy on the ears.
3. My engineer, Ryan, did a GREAT job of matching the natural reverb of my live venue and the studio sound. This was probably the most challenging part of the session trying to melt these two venues together!
4. With luck I'll have a mastered copy in the next week or so and then shortly after that the disc will be off for duplication. I really appreciate everyone's patience while this project has been developing. I hope you'll find that the disc will be well worth the wait and something new for your ears.
Keep on Keepin' on folks and thanks again for all the support!
Best,
Trent
